This weekend we wrapped up the insulation, finished the wheel-well boxes, finished removing the bus company/brand logo stickers, and blocked off the window on the back door.

We removed the decals with judicious use of a heat gun and razor blade.
The wind chime on the starboard mirror was a gift from some neighbors around the corner. A few months ago, their dog had escaped his back yard during a fairly tumultuous thunderstorm. He showed up on our doorstep, shaking and wet. While we called the phone number on his tag, "Checkers" (as it turns out) made himself at home on our sofa and snuggled up to whoever he could and went right to sleep. Anyway, short story long...his grateful parents came by after a few hours to pick him up, and returned later in the day with the wind chimne as a thank you gift.
The bottom rear window, in the process of being blocked off with a sheet of galvanized sheet metal. Someone* was careless when removing the wheelchair lift, and the window took a glancing blow from a big piece of steel. *OK it was me. (Sean)

If you thought tires for your motorcycle or car were expensive, price bus tires someday. Yee-ouch.

The wheel well boxes were our first foray into "real" carpentry in the bus.

The insulation is complete, including the back door and rear wall. Those two areas presented some challenges, but we persevered.
The rear door. We'll cover it with birch paneling when we get to that stage (next weekend!).
It was fun & challenging to get the door insulated properly.
