We also completed some of the cabinet doors for the kitchen pantry, and finished the birch paneling around the front door. The front of the tub was also finished.
Using an angle grinder and cutoff wheel, the rear bumper gets notched to accommodate the main deck supports -- 2" x 2" x 3/16" thick angle iron. These are bolted to the chassis rails using 1/2", Grade 8 nuts & bolts.

The cross-members and end pieces are 2" x 2" x 1/8" thick angle iron, 6' and 18" in length respectively. We drilled and bolted them together while they were clamped in place.
The deck depth is 18", but the expanded sheet metal we intended to use for the floor was 24" wide...so we used the sheet metal brake to fold it to size.

(After running out of the oil-based paint we'd used for front of the counter/sink unit...we switched to a latex-based, almond-colored paint for the pantry. It turned out greyish so we'll go back over it with the original paint.)
