I took the scenic route from Tucson to Silver City, New Mexico: Through Sonoita, Tombstone, and Douglas in Arizona, to Rodeo, New Mexico, followed by a short run on Interstate 10, then the final climb to 6000' to Silver City.

I'm parked among the trees on a friend's property near Silver City. I escaped the heat of Tucson just in the nick of time.

Whitetail deer walk past the bus nearly every evening.
